Neurodiversity is a natural part of human variation, not a deficit to be fixed.
Care focuses on understanding your unique strengths, challenges, needs, and experiences with curiosity, respect, and compassion, while supporting authentic self-understanding rather than masking or conformity.

Past experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Care prioritises emotional safety, choice, empowerment, and transparency, recognising the impact of trauma while seeking to avoid re-traumatisation.

Health and wellbeing cannot be fully understood when mind, body, spirit and environment are treated as separate systems.
Care considers the whole person, including psychological, physical, social, environmental, cultural, and existential factors that may influence wellbeing. The goal is to understand how these factors interact, rather than viewing them as separate or unrelated concerns.

Effective care often draws on insights from multiple disciplines rather than a single theoretical approach.
Care incorporates established psychological practice alongside relevant evidence-informed perspectives from neuroscience, lifestyle medicine, neurobiology, and related fields, tailoring support to the unique needs and context of each individual.

People of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations deserve affirming and respectful care.
Support is grounded in inclusion, authenticity, and recognition of diverse experiences, creating space for people to explore and express who they are safely and openly.

Meaningful care is built through partnership rather than hierarchy
Your voice remains central throughout the process, while collaboration with other healthcare providers, educators, support workers, family members, and trusted supports may be integrated to create more connected and coordinated care

Lived experience offers valuable knowledge alongside professional expertise.
Care is informed by both clinical training and personal understanding of neurodivergence, chronic illness, and navigating systems of support, helping to bridge the gap between theory and real-world experience.

A person's worth is not determined by their health, productivity, or body size.
Care is grounded in weight-inclusive and body-respectful principles that support wellbeing without shame, stigma, or unrealistic expectations, recognising the many biological, social, and environmental factors that influence health and capacity.
