A comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming assessment to explore whether Autism meaningfully reflects your neurotype. This process integrates structured diagnostic tools with in-depth discussion of your lived experience, developmental history, sensory profile, identity, strengths, and support needs. Taking an integrative, whole-body approach, we consider how nervous system patterns, masking, burnout, trauma, and health factors intersect with autistic traits. The goal is clarity, validation, and understanding — not pathologising.
with Comprehensive Report from $2570 or $1940 (concession)
OR
with Outcome Letter from $1850 or $1400 (concession)

A comprehensive, affirming assessment to explore whether ADHD best explains your lifelong patterns of attention, executive functioning, motivation, and regulation. This process combines structured assessment tools with collaborative exploration of your history, strengths, coping strategies, and challenges across environments. Using an integrative lens, we consider the whole-body system — including nervous system regulation, sleep, stress, and other health factors — and how these may interact with ADHD traits.
with Comprehensive Report from $2090 or $1580 (concession)
OR
with Outcome Letter from $1610 or $1220 (concession)

A comprehensive dual assessment exploring both Autism and ADHD, recognising the unique and often complex presentation of combined AuDHD neurotypes. This integrated process weaves together structured diagnostic measures with a deep exploration of developmental history, sensory and cognitive profiles, executive functioning, identity, and lived experience. Through a holistic, whole-body perspective, we examine how nervous system patterns, masking, burnout, trauma, and health factors shape a multiply-neurodivergent presentation.
with Comprehensive Report from $3560 or $2690 (concession)
OR
with Outcome Letter from $2360 or $1790 (concession)

Explore the possibility of Autism or ADHD neurotypes. This single session provides a brief screening assessment, in-depth discussion of whether either (or both) of these diagnoses/identifications may make sense of your experiences and an optional post-session summary letter. It is a chance to be heard, explore the idea of a neurodivergent identity and get an indication of whether progressing to a full assessment (or self-identification) is worthwhile. Please note that this service does NOT provide an official diagnosis and is not sufficient for funding applications to NDIS.
with Supporting Letter = $620 or $470 (concession)
OR
without Supporting Letter = $440 or $330 (concession)
You can pay for your assessment in two ways:
1) Pay the base amount in full - Get invoiced for the full amount (e.g. $2570 for an Autism assessment with comprehensive report) and then pay any additional costs if necessary as they arise.
2) Pay as you go - Get invoiced for each individual stage of the process (e.g. $240 for pre-assessment appointment or $1200 for report writing), spreading the payments out. For an outline of all these, see the full cost breakdown (button below). Please also be aware that the report or outcome letter will not be released to you until full payment has been received.
Our online invoice payment gateway also offers Buy Now, Pay Later options offering instalments.
To be eligible to book at the concession rate, you must have a valid healthcare or pension card. This must be sighted by Ruby prior to booking.
I accept referrals for ages 16+. As my service is exclusively via Telehealth, anyone wishing to receive assessment must be comfortable with computer technology and able to engage for extended sessions via video. Online paperwork (including document signing) is also required. Some of this can be completed by a caregiver if under 18.
If you are under 25 years of age and have a valid referral from a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, some medicare rebates can be used towards assessments. Unfortunately there are no available rebates for adults above age 25 for assessment services.
am a registered psychologist. A clinical psychologist is also a registered psychologist. By Australian law, all registered psychologists have the same ability to diagnose and provide documentation to support a diagnosis (i.e. reports and letters). While some organisations may misunderstand this and request documentation by a clinically endorsed psychologist, this is not based in fact. If you are concerned about this or have heard from others that you need to see a ‘clinical psychologist’, please read more about this on the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc DIAGNOSTIC CAPACITY OF REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGISTS IN AUSTRALIA fact sheet.
Currently, NeuroNest Psychology operates exclusively as an online service, meaning we do not have an office space for you to attend appointments in person. If you find an aspect of telehealth difficult, I encourage you to discuss it with us to see if we can problem solve around it. If unable to, we can refer to other assessment services that offer similar services in-person.
Yes you can, however, please note that there is no guarantee of NDIS or other external funding. If you are planning on applying for NDIS funding, I recommend going with the comprehensive report option and getting advice from your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) as to what other evidence you might need.
Under my consultation services, I offer short-term post-diagnosis support (up to 3 sessions). These sessions can be utilised to assist with your NDIS application.
While school reports can provide valuable insight during an assessment, their necessity depends on the individual situation. For ADHD assessments, evidence of ADHD traits from before age 12 is required, but this can also be provided through alternative means (e.g., from a parent or sibling). Therefore, if you do not have access to your old school reports, there is no need to worry; they are not essential.
